Terms and Conditions Quizitive Events

 

1. Introduction

 

Quizitive aims to host the best pub quizzes. To help us out, these Terms and Conditions govern your use of our events, including ticket purchases and participation in our on-location pub quizzes. By buying tickets or participating in our events, you agree to comply with these terms.

 

2. Ticket Purchases

 

2.1 Online Ticket Sales: Tickets for Quizitive pub quizzes can be purchased online through our website. Payment details, including prices and transaction fees, will be clearly outlined during the booking process.

 

2.2 Refunds: All ticket sales are final, and we do not offer refunds. In case of event cancellation by Quizitive or by one of our locations, a full refund will be provided. If you can not make our quiz and you wish to move your ticket up to one of our next quizzes, please contact us the day before the event. On the day of the event itself we may not be able to do this anymore.

 

2.3 Changes in team size: Because Quizitive works together with bars to organize our quizzes, it is important to know how many people will be attending so the bar can make a seating arrangement. Therefore, please do not show up with more or less people than stated on your ticket. If there is a change in team size, please contact us 48 hours before the quiz, so we can contact our venue. Failure to do so, and showing up with a different team size may unfortunately lead to people being refused or placed in a different team. 

 

3. On-Location Events

 

3.1 Event Rules: Participants are expected to adhere to the rules and guidelines set forth by Quizitive and the hosting bar during the pub quiz. Failure to comply may result in disqualification or removal from the premises.

 

3.2 Team Size: The maximum team size is 5. If you wish to change your team size, please refer to 2.3. Teams exceeding the maximum cannot participate, and may be split up or refused if the venue is fully booked.

 

3.3 Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to winning teams based on criteria stated on the night itself. Quizitive reserves the right to modify prize structures without prior notice.

 

3.4 Behavioral Expectations: Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner. Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in disqualification, removal from the event and refusal for future events. Let’s keep a fun atmosphere!
 

4. Intellectual Property

 

4.1 Quiz Content: The quiz questions and content are the intellectual property of Quizitive. Participants agree not to reproduce, distribute, or disclose quiz content without express written permission.

 

4.2 Photography and Recording: Participants may be photographed or recorded during the event for promotional purposes. By attending, participants grant Quizitive the right to use such images or recordings. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let us know before or after the event.

5. Liability and Disclaimer

 

5.1 Assumption of Risk: Participants acknowledge and assume all risks associated with their attendance and participation in Quizitive pub quizzes, including but not limited to personal injury and property damage.

 

5.2 Liability: Quizitive, its organizers, and the hosting bar are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage sustained during the pub quiz event.

 

6. Miscellaneous

 

6.1 Modification of Terms: Quizitive reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website.

 

6.2 Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dutch courts.
